The Brief

McCloskey came to Envisage with a vision and set goal in mind for their space at Hillhead 2022. Looking for a warm, welcoming space that educated and attracted visitors to their stand. Looking for distinct areas for separate brands, whilst still maintaining one presence on the stand.

McCloskey is recognised globally for its brand colours with its distinctive yellow and green, with customers buying their products because they need powerful and reliable equipment. As a result of this, strong branding and machinery placement were of paramount importance at the show as well.

The Deliverables

McCloskey’s goal at the show was to make their stand open and easily accessible, wanting their visitors to ‘swing by and speak with team members about how McCloskey boosts productivity and business results by listening to their customers and building their feedback into their designs.

The key message for 2022 and 2023 is sustainability. Sustainable solutions are a vital consideration in McCloskey’s designs and in their customer’s operations. That is why they offer their industry-leading screeners and stackers in dual power and electric models to deliver on their promise to make the world greener. Their clever slogan is ‘Green has always been our favourite colour!’

The Experience

The use of impactful, large format graphics and decorative elements to the stand really drove the messaging home to visitors of the stand. Bold colours and comfortable seating areas inside and outside, where visitors could enjoy an informal chat in the sunshine were a fantastic addition to the space. Allowing visitors to stay a while, feeling welcome and comfortable. The use of AV around the space gave an informal educational element to the stand, letting the information flow effortlessly.

Our Response

Together with our in-house design team, McCloskey was heavily involved in the development of the space. Our design team use detailed concepts to create CAD plans and elevations leading to a 3D digital walk-through using the latest technology, helping the client immerse themselves in their potential space. The finished design was a completely new take on a traditional marquee which the team at McCloskey would like to adopt for other large-scale events in the future.
