The Brief

Based in the heart of the Potteries since 1795 as one of its constituent companies, Churchill has progressively developed, building a strong reputation as an innovative and reliable supplier of quality tabletop products.

Our objective was to translate the client’s vision into an impressive space in which to demonstrate their core ranges and new products. It had to reflect their pedigree and heritage, but at the same time position & reflect Churchill as innovators and market leaders.

The Deliverables

Churchill are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tableware. They pride themselves on delivering innovative, high performance products to the hospitality industry. They have a long and steeped history in bringing the highest quality products to the marketplace.

The showroom would be situated in an existing factory space & would be given pride of place next to reception. Our design team centred the concept around a journey, where guests are led on a circular route around a central presentation area.

The Experience

The entrance of the showroom features a timeline; a work of art itself, created in printed glass telling the Churchill story from their beginnings to the present day. Beyond this, a hero display of their latest products captures the attention of guests with a real wow factor.

This leads through to a product wall, which is in effect a library of their core products. Continuing around the space, screens separate out collections of tableware. A neutral backdrop offers the versatility and flexibility to change the collections, as the marketplace is ever-changing. Dark wooden tones give a luxurious and distinctive look to the brand environment.

Finally, the journey is concluded with a ‘trends’ area where mood boards and experimental pieces point to the future direction of their tableware.

Our Response

In collaboration with the Churchill team, we provided a turnkey project including the design and project management. Our workshop was responsible for the architectural joinery and manufacturing of all bespoke display units & elements befitting of the Churchill brand.
