The Brief

Radiometer approached us via a recommendation, which is always the best way!

Radiometer’s solutions provide fast and accurate information on a broad number of parameters used in the diagnosis and treatment of critically ill patients in a hospital. Their products are used by blood banks, general practice offices and clinics in the screening and/or treatment of certain conditions. Although this was quite a small stand space, Radiometer wanted to have a stand that really reflected the brand and very simply display key products from their two companies under the one Radiometer banner.  Radiometer had stated that, given the fact that the point of care is the future of lab provision, that they were not averse to a futuristic look to the stand. Previous stands had been quite cluttered with mixed messages and branding.  In order to focus on the fact that Radiometer deliver point of care better than anyone, we decided that messaging and finishes needed to be sharp and look really polished.

The Deliverables

Gaining a presence within the hall was all-important and so our building to the 4m permissible height was a must in this case.  In addition to this high-level branding, we also organised a suspended banner to be positioned in the hall that could be clearly visible as you entered the hall.  The 3-screen video wall added quite a unique dynamic and an interesting way to mix all kinds of messaging rather than using graphics.  Having the screens butted together made this more of an information wall that the visitors really enjoyed.  Branded sweets in the two brand colours proved to be a very popular attractor in getting people to come onto the stand and then all the more likely to interact with the i-pads available

The Experience

The stand was purposely designed to be very open and inviting to the visitor with minimal obstruction from three open sides.  Simple diagrammatic styling that was taken from the brand guidelines helped to focus on the two main products that were displayed on illuminated plinths that also contained lockable storage.  A 3-screen media wall delivered different messages to the visitor with a mixture of technical and more corporate messaging.

Our Response

Effective data collection via iPad was very well executed by the client with good control of people experiencing the product and logging their interest whilst with the Radiometer staff.  The resultant data meant that our client had a good number of warm leads to follow up on after the event and was able to follow up with news on new products and innovations in the months to come.

The Results

“From a personal standpoint, the entire process from brief to execution was very smooth and any issues were resolved very promptly.  It certainly made my life less stressful and I wanted to extend my thanks to you and your team for working so hard on our behalf – we really did appreciate it especially on build-up day when any AV issues were rectified so efficiently.”
